Description
This is so far one of my more enjoyable pieces to work on. The primary of it all is a message of holding on to God when we can't see through are circumstances. = When the Israelites fled from the Egyptians after being freed from slavery. They were first hand witnesses to the power of God, when he worked through Moses and split the Red Sea. The newly freed Israelites were hungry, tired, and completely lead in the dark as they followed their deliverer. They did not know of a land of "Milk and Honey", their generations were not used to being a free man, and they were in fear/joy at the miracles God was doing on Earth. Even upstage pharoah who they believed was very powerful. However God's love, power, and affirmation led them through all circumstances that were placed against them. Still today we are overcome with circumstances as the Israelites, that swallow us into fear, frustration, and bad judgment. But, when Christ is in front of you. When there is something your eyes can focus on and you know his promises have your back. You can walk through all of your circumstances and have a feeling in your heart of surety. I will be safe this way. You can stand on the mountains of frustration and the pits of failures and rejoice. Because you have a mighty God, Jesus, who will pull you through everytime. All you need to do is call on him -RTW

Everything looks good, well done. I would've tried to convey the sense that there are many more people behind this one (I guess he's Moses?). Also, the water should be moer wall-like, not waterfall-like. The perspective is really great, its not a common take on this theme. Probably the stupidest issue Ihave with this is the trees on the opposite bank, since its a desert, but now I'm just splitting hairs...
Excellent work!

If you recall Jesus words;
John 5:39
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me
What you are seeing is a parallel...Cross = Jesus = Moses = Deliverer
The Split sea = Circumstances
The man = Israelites = You and me
The rock = Faith
Things are totally different from the Old because in the new we have found Grace. The Old were for people who needed a law.
Take care vikinggirl..thank for all the replies.
Thanks Alsnyder
